Tools & Resources. Edit: Just so it is clear, this is not officially from Curse or FTB.
This is just a fan-made program to deal with not having an official client. Changes: • Caches mods to be more efficient • Fixes issues with manifest.json files with newlines in the wrong spot (e.g. Infinity) Instructions on how to use it are currently in the initial release notes, here: Note: It is your responsibility to keep the pack as up to date as you want (or as up to date as the person you mention bugs to wants it to be).
Bugs with modpacks may be cleaned up in newer versions, so ensure you are on the latest version of a pack before reporting bugs to the modpack author. Originally a year ago it was planned that a new curse client (now cursevoice) to replace distribution of FTB packs, both first and third party. Cursevoice = launcher 2.0. The current launcher I can see being used a lot in the future still as it's been hard to persuade higher ups at Curse to develop a Linux version apparently. And as a Mac user myself I will be using the original launcher for the foreseeable future. Don't panic about the change though, what impressions I do have of cursevoice are very positive so far.
